无锡市华东电机厂成立于1983年，是镇办乡镇企业，以生产通用电机和电扇电机为主。为当时著名的“菊花”电扇配套电扇电机，为无锡华达电机厂（现雷勃电气有限公司）出口电机进行主要部件（定子、转子成品）的主要供应商。
